Job Description:
We are searching for a dependable travel nurse to join our healthcare team. The travel nurse will be responsible for contracting at different Facilities in need. Contracts typically run 4-to-8-weeks in length at our Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities with the possibility to extend beyond that.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
- Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans.
- Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Assist with medical procedures such as suturing wounds and managing catheters.
- Provide specialized care in areas such as ICU, family planning, and airway management.
- Use medical equipment and technology effectively, including DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and medical imaging systems.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner to maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in Ohio.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Proven experience as a nurse in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and healthcare regulations.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
