Conducts one's self with courtesy, respect and consideration towards the public and coworkers at all times.
Interviews and maintains communication with public assistance clients who have been previously determined eligible for public assistance, by referral of the CCDJFS Eligibility Referral Specialist 2's.
Assesses ongoing client's employment situation and seek to resolve any barriers to employment these clients may be experiencing.
Tracks client participation in education and training programs and assists ongoing clients in job search/retention activities (attachment).
Assists client in fulfilling their self-sufficiency contract.
Conducts WEP site visits as the liaison between CCDJFS OWF, the participant and the work site(s).
Connect participants with educational opportunities, such as GED classes, secondary education or training programs.
ERS 1 will meet with clients to address inappropriate behavior or dress, tardiness and absenteeism at the work/training sites.
Maintains contact with clients and other community resources to include requests for information and documentation; provides information concerning services available; refers clients to other agencies when necessary.
Processes application for licensing of homes for publicly funded child care.
Determines and re-determines client eligibility for publicly funded childcare programs.
Maintains necessary case records and documentation on all childcare clients.
Maintains tickler files on due dates for client eligibility re-determinations.
Conducts certification and recertification inspections and follows up with provider regarding violations, fraud or potential issues of concern.
Completes reports, forms and correspondences.
Receives provider and/or client complaints and investigates allegations.
Maintains necessary case records and documentation on all childcare providers.
Provides and/or participates in the in-service training for staff & other community agencies.
Answers routine inquiries by phone, mail and e-mail.
Provides and/or participates in the in-service training for staff & other community agencies.
Attends meetings, trainings, workshops and conferences as needed.
Cooperates with community and partner agencies.
Perform miscellaneous tasks associated with the duties of eligibility and referral case work.
Unusual working condition:
may do home based interviews and field site visits.
Process time and attendance and provides payments as necessary.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
