LPN Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse promotes and restores patients&s; health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members.

LPN Responsibilities

  • Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients

  • Monitor catheters, dress wounds

  • n

  • Supervise nursing assistants and aides

  • n

  • Provide basic patient care and treatment

  • n

  • Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications

  • Educate and update patients on medical treatments

  • Other duties assigned by the Nursing Supervisor
