5 Full-time 21 hours ago Full Job Description We are seeking a Teacher with credentials in serving students with visual impairments needs for Columbiana County.
As a TVI Specialist, you will evaluate the skills and related vision-specific needs of students.
Needs may include the areas of sensory, cognitive, social, motor, and self-help/IDL skills.
You will develop appropriate IEPs for the instruction based on assessments that are designed to increase independent functioning of the student in a variety of settings.
Additionally, you will collaborate with the school staff to provide VI therapy designed to increase specific skills and consult with parents, teachers and other professionals regarding the needs of the students.
